Meet Andre

As CEO and Founder of Colour Andre, Andre is an exceptionally skilled marketer, graphic designer, videographer and 3D animator at taking complex technical ideas and creating animations, videos, and marketing assets that explain them clearly.

He's innovative, creative, and all-around awesome person. And though our working relationship has been more recent, we actually met in high school!

Our favourite project we’ve worked on together…

Andre and I both agree that our most impressive project together was with 4D Medical.

We came into the project as the business were reimagining themselves – from a smaller research company to a multinational medical device company.

Together, we build their Brand Story Strategy, found the words to communicate what they do to the outside world in a way they would understand, and helped them bring the brand together internally, so they really felt like they owned it.

They’ve gone on to be a $400 million a year company, and gone on to grow an internal team to support their ongoing brand development.

But Andre is always happy when a client outgrows him – it means he’s done his job, expanded their minds and helped them to grow into the business they are today.

What we love most about working together…

Andre is creative, smart and innovative. He sits on the cusp of all the interesting things that are happening in the technology space.

I always learn something in our conversations and in our work together. And our projects are always an opportunity to have a positive impact on the world.

Andre is exceptionally collaborative and takes the time to really understand his client and the brief. This is also my favourite way to work as it delivers such strong results for our clients.

When it comes to working with me, Andre says:

“The passion that you show with all of the work that you do, is your number one selling point, I think.

I've always thought that your business name Heart Content is just so spot on - genuine, care in your heart not only about, their business, but the outcome that you are helping them to create.

And you put that into your writing. And I think that it encourages other businesses, your clients to talk in a more human way.

I tend to pick up, little bits of gold from all the people that I work with. And there's lots of bits of gold that I've stolen from you completely mercilessly about how to make the work that you do more human.”

 

How Andre thinks business has changed in the last 10 years…

Specifically in the area of technology, Andre believes it’s harder to get investment now than it was 10 years ago.

“I think that investment is harder to get, trying to get new ventures off the ground. if you don't have AI associated with your new venture business idea at the moment, it's almost impossible to get money next to it.”

 

And what he thinks will change in the next 10 years…

It’s no surprise given his exceptional understanding of technology, that Andre believes it will be AI that transforms business in the next decade.

“I've said this to a lot of people and I know it might sound, overblown, but it's not, it's as important to humans as the harnessing of fire. It will make exactly that much difference. The harnessing of fire brought us the industrial revolution. Everything, literally the camera that we are currently on, the microchips that have processed to make these computers that make the camera, it's all from that.

So, I think there's huge amounts of things to look forward to in terms of business. Using AI backed by human intelligence will just augment our ability to produce much more.”
