Interview Highlights
Meet Chloe
I was lucky enough to be one of Chloe’s first clients when she started her business as a virtual assistant.
She was working in the corporate world and while she was delivering results from a productivity point of view, she was climbing the walls.
Chloe considered working with a temping agency, but it didn’t take her long to realise that she didn’t need an agency to sell her skills. She’s need one client to get started, and another client a few weeks after that and she’d be on her way. And with that, strategy x soul was born.
Chloe is a systems, automations, marketing and community guru who gives strategy and support to heart-led business owners so they can spend more time doing what they love.
And she’s helped me to scale Heart Content and launch some of my biggest business dreams.
Our favourite project we’ve worked on together…
Chloe has been an amazing support to my business and I now can’t imagine my work week without her.
This means we’ve worked on LOTS of projects together, but one of our favourites has been putting together and launching the Brand Story Strategy Workshop.
It took a while for this idea of mine to come to fruition, but now I’ve delivered three successful live workshop rounds to bigger and bigger groups of business owners.
Chloe says:
“I've really loved the process of getting the Brand Story Strategy Workshop up and running.
Just taking that from idea and like early days of the idea and talking about it, to not getting to work on it for a little while, because we had some other things that we're working on, to then starting to work on that and launching it for the first time and seeing it kind of spread its wings and become its own thing.
And to see all your hard work and passion go into it and then to now be launching the second time and then launching the third time and seeing it grow and let your genius of come out.”
What we love most about working together…
We both love the optimism and positivity we’ve brought to the table.
I can always count on Chloe to lift me up when things are hard.
And we’re in solid agreement that it’s tenacity and leaning into challenges that make or break a business.
What Chloe thinks will change for business in the next 10 years…
Chloe believes that successful businesses will realise that they need to go deeper with their customers if they want to keep growing.
Businesses are going to need to really get to know their customers and work out how they can create connection, especially in their marketing.
The long game is going to be more important than ever before.
She says:
“Amey, I think that a big reason why you're still here is you haven't focused on speed. You've focused on that connection with your customers, those relationships. Those little moments, those little opportunities along the way that really show your customers that you care and give them what they need to get great results.
I think we're going to see people doubling down on that. I think we're going to see the businesses that are really successful double down on their branding and their values and what they're about, their vision and their mission.”
And how do we create more time in our businesses to do that? We’re going to get people like Chloe to help us systemise our business and streamline the admin stuff so we can spend more time focusing on the needs of our customers.
Key Interview Insight
We're going to see more businesses, move from a fast business model to more of a sustainable business model. And instead of moving fast or having all the bells and whistles from looking in from the outside, they're going to take that energy and move it towards their clients and customers.
I think that's really important to stand out, but also for the longevity of your business. Cause I think over the last year or two, we've seen a lot of people burn out and decide that business is not for them, or they’ve not been able to connect with their customers or potential clients in the way that they would hope.
Maybe they haven't been as successful as they were hoping for. So, I really think that getting good at the basics and diving deep into business and doing the basics, it's going to be really important moving forward. - Chloe
