Marketing with Confidence & Mastering Your Unique Message with Stephanie Lee

When Stephanie and I met at a local networking event, she says she knew I was the right person to support her business because of how passionately I spoke about Brand Story Strategy.

It’s safe to say that like recognised like.

Stephanie is the founder of Bliss Architecture and is passionate about designing new homes and renovations that bring harmony to the lives of her clients, while keeping things in balance with the environment.

We’ve spent quite a few years together both building Stephanie’s Brand Story Strategy so she can harness her uniqueness, and then implementing a marketing content plan based on the strategy. One that’s sustainable, consistent and attracts her ideal client.

In our 10 Years, 10 Stories chat, we talk about how becoming confident in marketing will change the game, the importance of mastering your uniqueness in order to attract your ideal clients, what a passion for sustainability looks like in Stephanie’s architecture business, and how joyful it can be to work with someone who is the right fit for you (and your business).

Interview Highlights

Meet Stephanie

Stephanie is the founder of Bliss Architecture and is passionate about designing new homes and renovations that bring harmony to the lives of her clients, while keeping things in balance with the environment.

With more than 20 years in the business, Stephanie seeks to uncover the individual rhythm of the families she works with, creating practical and unique spaces that reflect them.

She’s a specialist in sustainable building and takes a collaborative, hands-on approach to architecture, so her clients can feel confident that their new home or renovation will truly support the way their family loves to live. Stephanie is an architect who helps her clients navigate the challenges of building and will really listen to what they want.

We met at a local, face-to-face networking event (how many years ago exactly we aren’t sure), and it was me talking passionately about the importance of Brand Story Strategy that had Stephanie seek me out to build one for Bliss Architecture.

We’ve been working together ever since.

Our favourite project we’ve worked on together…

While we’ve loved building Stephanie’s Brand Story Strategy so she can make sure her marketing is in alignment with her key message, one of my favourite things over the past couple of years has been seeing Stephanie take the wheel with her marketing.

As we’ve worked together on implementing a Content Strategy and growing her visibility, Stephanie has become more and more confident in making herself visible and sharing her talent.

She says:

It's all been quite joyful working with you, Amey. I think the favourite part has been growing confidence in marketing through, you know, getting the, the solid foundations of the framework that you've helped me to set out.”

What we love most about working together…

Stephanie is great to work with because she’s so passionate about what she does. And that’s my absolute favourite type of client to work with.

She consistently shows up and does the work. And she’s leaning into new things and learning new skills all the time.

Our working relationship is joyful and fun. And Stephanie says that it was my passion that helped her know I was the right person to support her business.

She says:

“You made it quite clear your passion with brand story. And I saw the big picture through, your words. There, there are quite a few marketing professionals. And as a small business person coming into being, it was quite difficult to navigate through, all of the tasks that marketing people do yeah, so it was quite clear where you're coming from, what you're passionate about, how you can help me.”

What Stephanie thinks will change for business in the next 10 years…

Businesses are going to have to be flexible.

They’re going to have to look at new ways of reaching people, and find the thing that makes them unique so they can cut through the noise.

She says –

“I think businesses have, and this might not be totally new but, as we saw throughout COVID businesses have to be flexible.

And ready to look at new avenues or different ways to reach people. They also have to be unique because there is so much noise.”
